
André Dillon was born in Paris in 1958. He studied guitar with Blas Sanchez and Philippe Jouanneau as well as musical analysis and writing with various teachers. He currently teaches guitar in several conservatories in the Paris region.
In 1989 with two guitarist friends Didier Prat and Christian Salmon, he founded the music and guitar association and created the "Green Guitar" workshop and festival in Normandy. During these events he invites the guitarists Pablo Marquez, Cristina Azuma, Tania Chagnot as well as the composers Wagner Amorosino and Philippe Kadosch.
Passionate about chamber music, he has animated guitar ensembles for three decades, for which he transcribes, arranges and composes original pieces. Today his scores are published by Zurfluh, Robert Martin and Andelmusic.
In 2001 he recorded a CD of his compositions for voice and guitar with Lucia Scappaticci on texts by Maurizio Scaf
