In chamber music, Guy Dangain has been accompanied by the most renowned string quartets. He has played with Isaac Stern, Patrice Fontanarosa, Roland Pidoux, Michel Dalberto, Eddie Daniels, Michel Portal, Philippe Berrod, Misaki Baba, Shoko Gamo…

A former professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Guy Dangain has given master classes all over the world and has trained many talented clarinetists.

Guy Dangain has recorded many discs. He was awarded the Charles Cros Academy Prize with the Weber complete chamber music. He was awarded the French disc prize for his interpretation of Debussy's Rhapsodie with the Orchestre National de France conducted by Jean Martinon.

From 1975 to 2000, as professeur de déchiffrage of the Conservatoire de Paris, Dangain gave master classes around the world, including the Tchaikovski Conservatory in Moscow, the United States (Los Angeles, Boston, Minneapolis, Cincinnati), China (Beijing, Shanghai, Canton, Hong Kong), Taiwan, Korea and Turkey.
