
Michel Nowak was born on the 28th of March 1967 at Courrières, France.

Career: Professor of clarinet and musical training, Director of Municipal Music Schools (Territorial Public Service), clarinetist in Military Orchestras, the Douai Symphony Orchestra, various amateur formations. Conductor of several Orchestras of Harmony and the Orchestra of Anches "Calamus" Nord - Pas-de-Calais. He composes for concert band and arranges numerous pieces for the woodwind ensemble that consists of the clarinet and saxophone family.
His work "Un jour de marché à Guernica" send in for the prestigious "Coups de Vents" contest at Lille 2007 was retained between many other compositions. Many of his arrangements and compositions have been recorded on CD.
Interests: Michel Nowak has two passions: the Music and contemporary History. He is also a collector of old 78 records.
