Van Daele Ludo

 

Ludo Van Daele was born in Diksmuide, Belgium the 10th November 1952. He followed his musical studies, clarinet, harmonie and piano at the Conservatory of Bruges. At the Royal Conservatory of Ghent he obtained first prize for transposition, clarinet, saxophone and chamber music. At the Superieur college at Antwerp, Departement Dramatic Arts, Music and Dance he followed harmonie, contrapunt, musical history and musical sociology and obtains his master degree mith greatest distinction for clarinet.

Ludo Van Daele is honorary professor for clarinet, saxophone and chamber music at the Music Academy of Poperinge and during 25 years he was the first soloist at the Royal Band of the Belgian Navy with whome he performed many concerts as soloist in Belgium and worldwide. He was also active as a pianist in this orchestra.

Momentary Ludo Van Daele is professor at the Music Academy "Clemens non papa" in Diksmuide and he is also active as composer.

With VLAMO he is technical instructor for the woodwind instruments.
